What is a Great Rate
Award?
A Great Rate Award is a quarterly
certification that a financial institution's
deposit and/or lending product(s) offer interest
rates which outperformed their local
marketplace. Look for a Great Rate Award
certification on the websites, brochures and
advertisements of every financial institution
with which you do business. |
Who is Datatrac?
Datatrac is the exclusive
provider of competitive interest rate data to
the American Bankers Association (ABA), Credit
Union National Association (CUNA & Affiliates),
National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU),
Bank Administration Institute (BAI) and
Financial Managers Society (FMS). Datatrac
maintains the industry’s largest database of
retail deposit & lending interest rates for over
14,000 financial institutions nationwide. |
How are Great Rate
Awards Calculated?
Each quarter, deposit and
lending interest rates in 175 regional US
markets are analyzed to determine institutions
who consistently outperform their local market
averages. Great Rate Award certifications are
awarded for specific deposit and/or lending
product(s) achieving this level of
competitiveness. |
