What is your favorite part of the day at the bank?

Early mornings, before the branch opens. It's a quiet time that allows me to prepare for the day ahead while still connecting with customers. It sets a positive tone for everything that follows.

What do you want BSV customers to feel when they leave the branch?

I want every customer to feel valued - not like a number, but like part of our extended family. Whether they came in for a simple transaction or needed assistance resolving a more complex issue, my goal is for them to leave knowing they were genuinely cared for.

How do you support customers beyond traditional banking services?

Community involvement is central to how we serve our customers. When our customers are engaged in local events or organizations, we strive to be present and supportive. It's important that they see us not just as their bank, but as an active partner in the community.

What do you appreciate most about the Prince George community?

It's a close-knit community, and I value the connections that come with that. Being recognized by people outside of the branch reinforces a sense of belonging and purpose.

What has kept you at BSV?

The relationships I've built - with both customers and colleagues - are incredibly meaningful. I feel supported by my team and fulfilled by the work I do each day.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

I'm an avid reader and read more than 100 books last year, with a particular interest in psychological thrillers. I also enjoy spending time on the water with my husband - he fishes while I relax and unwind.

What is one piece of financial advice you consistently share?

Save consistently - your future self will thank you. Whether it's contributing to a 401(k), building a savings cushion, or reducing everyday expenses, small, disciplined steps can have a significant impact over time.
